About Us

Critter Brooke Farms began in 2011 when The Bowens Family purchased the Old McKissack House in the Frankstown Community of Baldwyn, Mississippi. This property quickly became our home and we turned it into an animal farm for the kids to enjoy. Many years later, after all the kids have grown-up, we decided to turn Critter Brooke Farms into a multi-purpose event space. We have hosted many birthday parties, graduation celebrations, anniversary parties, corporate dinners, reunions, wedding/baby showers and weddings at Critter Brooke Farms for family and friends and now we are ready to rent this space to the public. Critter Brooke Farms is excited to bring you a professional experience for your next event!

Jessie Bowens

Jessie (Mom) is the passion behind Critter Brooke Farms. In the last couple of decades, she has organized, planned, and coordinated for dozens of weddings and hundreds of parties. Jessie has a heart for people and is so excited to work with everyone that comes through our doors.

James Bowens

James (Dad) is our business man. Having owned several successful business, he is ready to take on another project. James is a dreamer and inspires us all to live out our biggest dreams.

Christa Flint

Christa (Oldest Daughter) moved back to Mississippi in 2024 to help begin this new business endeavor. She has been in many weddings over the years and was recently a bride herself. Christa is organized and ready to assist you in making your event the best it can be!

Noah Flint

Noah (Son-in-Law) is a people person and loves the outdoors. He spends his days up-keeping the property to make Critter Brooke Farms look it's best for your events.
